Refund Policy
1. Overview
At Sweet Nolas, we want you to feel confident in every purchase you make -- whether that is a digital subscription or a physical product from our kitchen store. This policy explains your rights and our process for refunds, returns, and cancellations.
2. Digital Subscriptions
2.1 Monthly Plans
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through your Account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused days within a paid month.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing subscriber content within your first 7 days, contact us at info@sweetnolas.com and we will review your case for a courtesy refund.
2.2 Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. If you cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase and have not accessed more than 10 premium recipes, we will issue a full refund. After 14 days, annual plan fees are non-refundable for the remainder of the subscription term.
Renewals: You will receive an email reminder 7 days before your annual plan renews. If you cancel before the renewal date, you will not be charged for the next year.
2.3 Free Trial Periods
When a free trial is offered, no charge is made until the trial ends. You may cancel during the trial with no obligation.
3. Physical Products (Kitchen Store)
3.1 Eligibility
We accept returns on unused, unopened physical products within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in their original packaging and in resalable condition. The following items are not eligible for return:
- Perishable food items (spice blends, hot sauces, etc.) once the seal is broken
- Digital downloads or gift cards
- Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase
- Products that have been used, washed, or damaged after receipt
3.2 How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, email info@sweetnolas.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions and, if applicable, a prepaid shipping label.
3.3 Return Shipping
For defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped items, Sweet Nolas covers return shipping costs. For all other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
3.4 Inspection and Processing
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item within 3 business days. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days depending on your card issuer or bank.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please email us within 5 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including shipping.
5. Missing or Lost Orders
If tracking shows your order as delivered but you have not received it, please wait 2 business days as carriers sometimes mark items early. After that window, contact us and we will work with the carrier to investigate. If the package is confirmed lost, we will reship or refund at your preference.
6. Order Cancellations
Physical product orders may be cancelled within 2 hours of placement if they have not yet entered fulfillment. After that window, cancellations are not guaranteed. Contact us immediately at info@sweetnolas.com if you need to cancel.
7. Gift Orders
Gifts may be returned for store credit valid for 12 months. Original payment method refunds are only issued to the original purchaser.
8. Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original (subject to the policy above) and place a new order.
